The ribbon cable connects the main water tank to the digital control unit, ensuring the reliable transmission of readings to the display. Thanks to its ultra-flat design, it can be routed discreetly through narrow cutouts or existing ventilation grooves within the humidor cabinet. Typically, the cables are routed along the back, behind the storage shelves, keeping them virtually invisible from the inside.
With a length of 2.55 meters, the ribbon cable offers ample slack to flexibly position the water tank and control unit within the humidor cabinet.
Over years of operation, or due to frequent plugging and unplugging, the contact surfaces on the blue connectors may lose conductivity.
